Corps continues renovation work on medical facilities at Camp Zama
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District began construction in July on a $27 million project that will renovate the Brig. Gen. Crawford F. Sams U.S. Army Health Clinic and the U.S. Army Dental Activity Japan Clinic on Camp Zama. Slated for completion in March 2016, the facility will provide enhanced medical care for military service members, civilians, and their families at Camp Zama. The first phase of the project involves constructing a temporary facility to provide swing space for Clinic staff and patient care throughout the course of the existing clinic renovation. The renovation of the existing clinic facilities is slated to begin in Spring 2014.
