Corps leaders participate in Battle of Okinawa Staff ride
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District conducted a staff ride about the Battle of Okinawa on Oct. 7 in Okinawa, Japan. Staff rides are conducted as an educational tool used to further develop U.S. Army leaders. It allows a group of leaders to study a historic battle, then apply those lessons learned in their own careers. Pacific Ocean Division Commander Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Milhorn and Deputy Commander Col. Christopher Lestochi joined district military members and Okinawa Area Office civilians to visit key points of interest where the Battle of Okinawa occurred.
