From South of the Border to the Far East
Golden brown empanadas on display at Rock-N-Roll burrito, a family-owned Mexican cantina-style establishment located near Naval Air Facility Atsugi. ‘Hecho Con Mucho Amor,’ or ‘Made with immense love’ in Spanish, is painted above the entranceway to the kitchen, and embodies the mission of owner Hajime Higa, a Peru native and long-time Japanese resident, whose goal is to provide freshly made Mexican cuisine for U.S. servicemembers and their families with as much love and care as possible.
